Some nonsense about getting back on a bicycle. You'll be pleased (or alternately distraught) to know that i came down "Ian's Canyon" in Chatel today (as it is now well-known by locals and tourists alike) without nearly paralysing myself. i think that's good progress.
Here's the Rossignol promotional photoshoot pictures:
Great snow today, which is expected considering it has snowed non-stop for nearly 24 hours. After a day indoors yesterday my legs felt like they were made of stone and that i hadn't skied for a year on the first run of the day.
On the way home there was a huge blizzard over Chaux Fleurie (the way back home from Chatel) and a retarded boarder (aren't they all?) took Phil out. i didn't get there quick enough to whack him with my pole but did so in spirit. Actually, said boarder apologised profusely, but that doesn't really make up for riding like an imbecile in the first place. Phil was fine though and skied on through the blizzard and zero-visibility conditions in his usual expert fashion.
This is Simon, Ian, Sim, and Phil just outside l'Escapade about an hour ago:
This is Natalie outside our apartment about 20 minutes ago. Ours is the top three windows just below the roof.
